About the role
As an Associate Quality Engineer (AQE), you'll perform testing of Syncron products with experienced engineers' guidance. You'll learn about product's functionalities, document findings, create test data and collaborate with Engineering and Product Management teams regarding test basis and test items. You'll also engage in continuous self-learning and receive mentorship from experienced engineers
What would you do?
Test: Perform scripted and exploratory testing of new functionalities. Perform regression before releases. Perform bug-fixes confirmation testing.
Document: Write and maintain test cases, test scenarios and charters following standards; write easy to reproduce bug reports following standards.
Test data: Create and maintain test data in Syncron's repository using SQL queries of moderate complexity.
Test environment: Set up working environment following guidelines provided by experienced engineers.
Source code: Read and understand basic concepts from the source code.
Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, product owners, designers, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software features.
Learn and grow: Continuously expand your knowledge and skills through self-learning, training, and mentoring from experienced engineers.
Who you are? / What we expect:
Basic understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
Familiarity with test case design and defect tracking tools.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
