About the team
Our Software Engineering team in Poland is a key part of Syncron’s global product organization, building and evolving cloud-based SaaS solutions used by leading manufacturers worldwide.
What would you do?
Participate in design and implementation of new features, using modern software design patterns;
Occasionally take part in the maintenance of an assigned piece of the product;
Provide full unit/integration test case coverage, as well as analyze and solve customer-reported bugs;
Work in a mixed team of junior and senior engineers under the guidance of an experienced technical lead;
Cooperate with people on non-developer positions within your team, as well as in a broader company context (testers, data scientists, UX designers, product owners, customer support specialists, DevOps engineers, architects, technical writers);
Participate in code reviews (as a part of internal CI pipeline) and occasionally in the internal analysis of incidents related to you and/or your team work;
Prepare appropriate documentation of implemented or changed functionalities, in English, targeted to internal stakeholders;
Learn and most importantly – gain knowledge and experience in a working environment.
Who you are? / What we expect:
An ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code;
Good command of any object-oriented or functional language (Java preferred but not required);
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or being during last years of studies;
Experience across our tech stack: Java 17+, Spring (Web, Security), Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSF (RichFaces with Mojarra), PostgreSQL, Aurora DB, Dynamo DB, Maven, Docker, AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda), Angular 20+, Typescript.
Availability to work app. 30 hours per week or more; full-time would be an asset (while having the flexibility during the day)
The icing on the cake:
Knowledge of relational databases;
Familiarity with Hibernate or Spring.
