About the role
The Product Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-informed decision-making within the Product organization. Reporting to the Principal Product Analyst, this role will be part of a growing Product Analytics team focused on embedding data deeply into the product development lifecycle — from discovery to delivery. You’ll be a trusted analytical partner to Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering Leads, helping uncover user behaviours, evaluate feature effectiveness, and measure product performance with rigor and clarity.
The right candidate brings a mix of curiosity, technical skill, business acumen, and the ability to influence with data. As we scale our analytics maturity, this is a rare opportunity to help lay the groundwork for scalable data practices and frameworks
What would you do?
- Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Program teams to define, measure, and evaluate product success metrics. • Translate business questions into well-defined data problems and analytical approaches.
• Design and implement dashboards and reports that provide ongoing visibility into key performance indicators, product usage patterns, and customer engagement.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to evaluate product launches, experiments (A/B tests), funnel conversion, retention, and behavioural segmentation.
• Identify and communicate actionable insights that shape product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and customer experience enhancements.
• Proactively monitor data to identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities, and work with stakeholders to address them.
• Help develop scalable frameworks, models, and processes to streamline recurring analyses across the product portfolio.
• Contribute to the data literacy of the wider product organization by guiding best practices in instrumentation, event tracking, and KPI definition
Who you are? / What we expect:
• 5+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or similar data roles, preferably in a tech or digital product environment.
-
• Strong command of SQL and experience with large datasets; proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and identifying high-leverage analytical opportunities independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — capable of translating complex data findings into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions through data storytelling and insight.
• Experience in working closely with product development teams in agile environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with digital product instrumentation (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, or custom event tracking) is a plus.
• Passion for continuous learning and driving a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Why join us?
- Be at the forefront of transforming how decisions are made with data across our product portfolio. • Work in a collaborative, high-impact environment where your insights directly shape the user experience and product success.
• Help define and build the product analytics culture and systems from the ground up.
