Join a dynamic and collaborative team of 15 Expert Services (XS) professionals in APAC, part of a global team of 69 members spanning the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. In this role, you’ll work alongside Project Managers, Solution Architects, Application Consultants, Technical Architects, and Technical Consultants to tackle challenging projects that directly address customer needs. We are looking for an ambitious Consultant. SCM (Supply Chain) to join our fast-growing Customer Excellence / Expert Services team. As a Senior Consultant you will advise our customers on their agenda to transform their service and after-sales business into a competitive differentiator.

As a Consultant you will lead the design discussions and navigate our customers’ After Sales Supply Chain business experts on their way to increase parts availability throughout their own as well as dealer-managed inventory network. You will collaborate closely with Syncron’s and the customer’s project manager in managing scope – to make sure the project stays on track for a successful go-live.
During the ramp-up period you will get familiar with Syncron’s processes and products by utilizing our eLearning platform. Your personal mentor and the Supply Chain SME peer group will support you to quickly learn what you need. About the role
As a Consultant in the APAC Expert Services (XS) team, your primary goal is to deliver high-quality projects, helping customers implement our solutions to achieve maximum return on their investment. You will play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard, while coaching consultants and associate consultants to build team expertise. This position requires supply chain industry knowledge and the ability to generate business development opportunities. Success in this role hinges on cross-functional collaboration, working closely with project portfolio managers, geo leaders, customer stakeholders, the product team, CSM, support, presales, and sales teams to deliver impactful outcomes.
With KPIs tied to utilization, you’ll have opportunities to work on strategic projects that gain visibility at the highest levels, including monthly reports to the CEO. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and innovation, providing valuable feedback to the product team to drive enhancements. Combining soft skills like logical thinking, facilitation, and documentation with technical knowledge of SQL, Eclipse, and Git repositories, you’ll tackle complex challenges while supporting transformative SaaS implementations. Who you are?
You are in the first line to ensure Syncron customers realize the most value from our solutions, by
Designing and documenting end-to-end business processes based on Syncron’s best practices and standard software solutions
Gathering, analyzing and documenting customer requirements and bringing them in line with the contracted project scope
Setting up Syncron’s solutions to enable customer value – following and refining the value proposal as developed during the presales phase
Defining the integration of the Syncron solution within the customer’s IT landscape (definition of relevant data flows and data mappings, specifically with regards to the customer’s ERP and Dealer Management (DMS) system(s)) – in close collaboration with the Technical Architect from Syncron’s project team
Coordinating and advising Application and Technical Consultants from Syncron’s project team to configure, test, and fine-tune business parameters to optimize solution fit
Enabling users to adopt the Syncron solution successfully into their live business operations by reviewing and advising on relevant functional and UAT test scenarios as well as by setting up impactful training plans
Managing the project scope in close collaboration with Syncron’s and the customer’s project manager
Leading customer stakeholders through the implementation project – with the ability to explain complex concepts and design challenges at executive summary level and providing meaningful advice on how to get to the best solution
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Identifying needs and additional services to optimize customer value
Collaborating with Syncron Customer Success Managers to drive customer satisfaction
Collaborating with Product Management department to improve Syncron solutions
What we expect:
You are an enthusiastic consultant who enjoys working with customers and helping them achieve business value through technology. You:
• Have completed a university degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Have 3–6 years of experience in consulting, software implementation, supply chain management, after-sales service, ERP systems, or a related business domain.
• Are fluent in both Japanese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have experience working directly with customers, facilitating discussions, gathering requirements, and documenting business processes.
• Can effectively communicate complex business concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy identifying practical solutions to business challenges.
• Are interested in leveraging technology and SaaS solutions to improve business performance.
• Can collaborate effectively with project managers, consultants, developers, support teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Are comfortable conducting workshops, user training sessions, and customer presentations.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.
• Are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Are willing to travel occasionally to support customer engagements and project activities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience implementing or supporting SaaS applications.
• Experience working with Japanese customers in a client-facing role.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Inventory Planning, Pricing, Service Lifecycle Management, ERP, or Dealer Management Systems.
• Basic understanding of SQL, data analysis, integrations, or enterprise software environments.
• Experience participating in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.
