About the role
The Legal Operations Associate will be a vital member of our legal team, responsible for managing and maintaining the contracts database, supporting the automated contracting workflows and providing day-to-day legal assistance to the other team members. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in analyzing contractual documentation and administering legal databases.
What would you do?
Legal Assistance:
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including standard contracts, ensuring they are accurate and comply with company policies and regulations.
- General support of Legal Department.
- Conduct preliminary legal research on various topics as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining legal files.
Contract Database Management:
- Accurately enter and update contract-related information in the contract database.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of contract data, including terms, conditions, and contractual obligations.
- Perform regular audits of the contract database to ensure all records are current and complete.
- Support the use of contract database by internal stakeholders.
Automated Contract Generation & Workflow Support:
- Day-to-day handling of contract-related tasks in DocuSign Contract Lifecycle Management tool (CLM).
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of automated contract generation processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues related to the contract generation, contract workflow and approval process.
- Support the use of CLM by internal stakeholders.
Document Sending & E-Signature Process:
- Coordinate the process of sending documents for electronic signatures using DocuSign e-signature tool (or other tools).
- Track and manage the status of documents sent for e-signature, ensuring timely completion.
- Support the use of e-Signature tool by internal stakeholders.
Archiving & Document Management:
- Management and organization of documentation on SharePoint.
- Ensure compliance with document retention policies and legal requirements.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on contract statuses, key metrics, and other relevant data.
- Assist in analyzing contract data to identify trends and insights for the legal and business teams.
What we expect:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as Legal Assistant or Paralegal or a related role, preferably in international environment or law firm.
- Experience in reading and analyzing business contracts.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Legal-tech oriented.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
The icing on the cake:
- Familiarity with DocuSign Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), DocuSign Signature and/or Salesforce.
